About- Madhav Institute of Technology & Science (MITS) Deemed University, Gwalior, invites applications from eligible and deserving candidates for regular faculty positions in Engineering, Technology, and Humanities. Additionally, the university is recruiting for regular non-teaching staff and engaging Professors of Practice on a contractual basis.

Research/Job Area-

The university seeks candidates with expertise in the following domains:

AI/ML: Model compression, NLP, LLM, Deep Learning Frameworks (PyTorch, TensorFlow).
Systems Engineering: Edge computing, distributed systems, and embedded OS.
Hardware Engineering: VLSI design, FPGA prototyping, and ASIC design flows.
Humanities: English and equivalent disciplines.

Location- Gwalior, Madhya Pradesh, India

Eligibility/Qualification–

1. Faculty (Engineering & Technology):

Assistant Professor: B.E./B.Tech./B.S. and M.E./M.Tech./M.S. or Integrated M.Tech. in relevant branch with First Class. Candidates completing Ph.D. by June 30, 2026, may apply.
Associate Professor: Ph.D. in relevant field with 8 years of experience (2 years post-Ph.D.) and at least 6 SCI/Scopus/WoS publications.
Professor: Ph.D. in relevant field with 16 years of experience (4 years as Associate Professor) and at least 10 SCI/Scopus/WoS publications.

2. Humanities:

Ph.D. in English/equivalent discipline with 55% at Master’s level. NET/SLET/SET is desired.

3. Professor of Practice:

Distinguished experts with at least 15 years of professional experience in industry or relevant fields.

4. Non-Teaching Staff:

Student Counsellor: Ph.D. in Psychology/Sociology/Social Work or equivalent with 55% at Master’s level.
Sport Officer: Ph.D. or Master’s in Physical Education (55%) and record of representing University/State.
Personal Assistant: First Class graduate and qualified Company Secretary (CS).

Professor of Practice: Contractual (Computer Science, IT, and AI disciplines).

Faculty: Teaching, research, curriculum development, and guiding Ph.D. scholars. Involvement in consultancy and MOOC course design is expected.
Student Counsellor: Psychological counseling for students (anxiety, stress, etc.), conducting workshops, and crisis management.
Sports Officer: Managing sports facilities, coaching, and organizing inter-university competitions.
Personal Assistant: Providing confidential support to the Vice-Chancellor, managing schedules, and handling official correspondence.
