Eligibility/Qualification–

Principal Project Associate (01 Nos.) Age – 40 years*	Doctoral degree in Life Sciences/Natural Sciences with consistently good academic records. Four years of research experience (R&D) in areas of Climate Science modeling /forest / grassland ecology/ecosystem services/resource assessment
Senior Project Associate (04 Nos.) Age – 40 years*	Master degree in Climate Science/Life Sciences/Natural Sciences/Physical Sciences/Atmospheric Science with consistently good academic records. Four years of research experience in areas of forest/grassland ecology/ecosystem services/resource assessment/physiological and phytochemical analysis/dendrochronology/ Green House Gas (GHGs) monitoring/Climate modelling or Ph.D. in equivalent areas

Job Position Description-

Position (No.) / Emoluments/age	Job description and preference for candidate
Principal Project Associate (01 Nos.) @ Rs 49000/Month + 8% HRA Initially up-to one year, further extension on performance basis.	Conduct extensive field R&D activities; generate, analysis and synthesis of field data/information; report preparation and timely submission to the PI/Co-PI Experience of working in remote mountainous areas/ rural communities Experience of data compilation/analysis and synthesis and proven record of scientific writing. Good communication skills and computer knowledge & data analysis.
Senior Project Associate (04 Nos.) @ Rs 42,000/month + 8% HRA Initially up-to one year, further extension on performance.	Conduct extensive field R&D activities; generate, analysis and synthesis of field data/ information; Green house gas & other pollutants monitoring & climate modeling Report preparation and timely submission to the Principal Project Associate & PI/Co-PI Good communication skills and computer knowledge.

Applications are invited only from Indian citizens for the following purely project-based temporary positions under NMSHE-TF3 II^nd Phase project at Kosi-Katarmal (Almora) campus of the Institute.
The candidate with adequate qualification may appear for Walk-In-Interview on 29.11.2021 for post code 1&2 & on 30.11.2021 for post code 3 at (10:00 AM onwards).
Candidates appearing for Walk-In-Interview (offline mode) must bring all original copies (with xerox copy) of certificates, testimonials, experience etc along with an application.
