Location- Gandhinagar
Eligibility/Qualification–
A PhD in physics with a specialization in gravitational physics. Candidates who have submitted their dissertation are also eligible to apply. In addition to the subject qualifications, a good candidate will have good communication and writing skills and a working knowledge of Mathematica/Python (or any suitable programming language) for mathematical calculations. An ideal candidate will also be independent-minded and capable of driving research into uncharted territory.
Job/Position Description-
Applications are invited from motivated and qualified candidates for a Research Associate I position under an ANRF grant in theoretical gravitational physics.
Job Description: A successful candidate will research on various aspects of theoretical gravitational physics, including properties of compact objects, black holes and modified gravity models. A strong expertise in computational and numerical aspects of general relativity and black hole physics is desired.
Duration: One-year appointment.
Remuneration: 58,000 INR monthly (+ 24% HRA).
