About- The Central University of Jammu (CUJ) invites online applications from eligible Indian Citizens and Overseas Citizens of India (OCI) for various teaching positions under direct recruitment.

Appointments, qualifications, experience, reservation, service conditions, emoluments, and age of superannuation shall be governed as per the norms of UGC/ Government of India/ AICTE/ NCTE and University regulations.

Eligibility/Qualification-

Basic Requirement: A minimum of 55% marks (or an equivalent grade) at the Master’s level.
Assistant Professor: National Eligibility Test (NET) is the minimum eligibility condition. Candidates awarded a Ph.D. Degree (in accordance with UGC Regulations, 2018) are exempted from the NET requirement.
Associate Professor: A Ph.D. degree is a mandatory qualification.
General: Minimum eligibility is governed by UGC Regulations 2018 (and AICTE norms for engineering posts). Equivalence certificates are required for foreign degrees.

The primary responsibilities include:

Teaching and conducting research within the appointed Department/Centre.
Candidates may also be required to take up teaching, research, or other assignments in other Departments, Institutes, or Centers of the University as needed.

Application Fee: Pay the online application fee of 1,000 INR. (Note: Candidates belonging to SC, ST & PwBD categories are exempted from paying the fee).
Important: Do not leave any relevant claim columns blank. In-service candidates must route their applications through the proper channel and produce a “No Objection Certificate” and “Vigilance Clearance Certificate” before the interview.
