Eligibility/Qualification–
PhD in the areas of Life Sciences.
Further the candidate should have experience in the Government or Private Entrepreneurial set up for more than 3 years. Applicant should have work experience in entrepreneurship development and management of start-ups.
Desirable:
- Good academic record.
- Have raised government funds for product development and commercialization.
- Have experience to implement Government funded project(s).
- Experience in running Start-ups at incubation centre.
- Experience in industrial consultancy and mentoring.
- Experience in handling advanced hands–on training programs for students and entrepreneurs
- Excellent Communication and Writing skills
- Sufficient experience in writing scientific projects, reports, etc.
Job/Position Description-
Applications are invited for the Post of CEO in a BIRAC sponsored project entitled “Healthcare
Bio-Entrepreneurship Ecosystem Encompassing Biomaterials, Industrial Biotechnology and Diagnostics” at IIT Guwahati Technology Innovation and Development Foundation. The appointment will be for 11 months, may be extended based on the candidates performance.

Monthly salary:
CEO: Rs. 90,000.00 (Consolidated)
