University of Delhi invites applications for Chief Executive Officer Position from eligible and interested candidates
About- The BioNEST program is inviting applications for a temporary Chief Executive Officer position. The post requires a Ph.D. in Life Sciences or a postgraduate degree in management, at least 6 years of experience in research and development, or management of instrumentation facilities. The job involves overseeing BioNEST activities, interacting with incubatees, assessing needs, troubleshooting technical issues, exploring funding, organizing training workshops, and liasoning between stakeholders. Eligibility/Qualification–
Ph.D. in any branch of Life Sciences OR postgraduate degree in management (MBA).
With at least 6 years experience thereafter, either in research and development in academic/corporate sector, or management of operations of high value sophisticated instrumentation facilities in academic/corporate sector.
Partial relaxation of qualifications may be considered in case of candidates with past experience in bio-incubator operations.
Job/Position Description-
Applications are invited for the following post purely on contractual basis under BIRAC-sponsored BioNEST program. The post is temporary and co-terminus with the project. The post, essential qualifications for eligibility, and remuneration, are mentioned below.
Post: Chief Executive Officer (1 post)
Remuneration: 90,000/- per month consolidated
Overseeing day-to-day BioNEST activities, interacting with incubatees regularly to assess their needs and troubleshoot technical/infrastructure-related issues, exploring for funding avenues, organization of training workshops and seminars, liasoning between the various stakeholders, attracting and ensuring business for optimal utilization and sustainability of the facility.
