INMAS, Delhi, India invites applications for DRDO Research Associate Position from eligible and interested candidates.
About- The Institute of Nuclear Medicine and Allied Sciences (INMAS), a specialized laboratory under the Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO), is dedicated to advancing the readiness, preparedness, and strategic resilience of the armed forces against radiological threats. The institute focuses on the development of radiation countermeasures with its mission of “Atom for Peace” and “Peace from Atom”. INMAS plays a critical role in quickly estimating absorbed radiation doses for effective triage and advising first responders and Quick Response Teams (QRTs) on immediate remedial actions. It also provides tailored cbRNe training modules for military, paramilitary, elite forces, and national organizations handling security crisis. Furthermore, the institute explores the neural bases of cognitive and behavioural traits crucial to military performance, aiming to safeguard the health and wellbeing of soldiers and first responders in environments with ionizing radiation and other occupational hazards.

Experience in LC-MS/ Lipidomics. 2. Validation/identification of markers (lipid/ metabolite/ enzyme based), prostaglandins & brain specific cardiolipin. |
RA-03 | R&D on decontamination and medical management for Chemical, Biological, Radiological and Nuclear emergencies (CBRNe) | PhD in Chemical Science/ Chemistry Desirable Qualification: Candidate with following research experience will be given preference: CNRNe Medical & response management.R&N protection, decontamination & decorporation.CBRN decontamination & Biothreat mitigation research. |

Job/Position Description-
For the Post Code RA-01 to RA-07:
Age: Maximum of 35 years for RA post as on the closing date of receipt of applications. 5 years’ relaxation to SC/ST candidates, 3 years to OBC candidates, and other entitled categories as per govt. rules.
Emolument: Rs.67000/- + HRA as per rules applicable in DRDO. iii. Tenure: Tenure of RA would be limited to a maximum period of two years.
Only those candidates who have been awarded Degree/Provisional Degree certificate are eligible to apply.
