About- Indira Gandhi Delhi Technical University for Women (IGDTUW), New Delhi, is inviting applications for the empanelment of Professors, Associate Professors, and Assistant Professors as Guest Faculty in the Department of Artificial Intelligence and Data Sciences. The faculty will contribute to teaching undergraduate and postgraduate programs in Artificial Intelligence.

Research/Job Area-

Artificial Intelligence and Data Sciences (Teaching various AI subjects for UG/PG programs. For details, refer to Scheme and Syllabus of courses)

Location- IndiraGandhi Delhi TechnicalUniversity For Women, Delhi, India

Eligibility/Qualification–

Professor:
- Ph.D. in a relevant field of Engineering and Technology
- M.E./M.Tech and B.E./B.Tech (or equivalent) in a relevant discipline with first class at either level
- Minimum 10 years teaching/research/industrial experience, including at least 3 years as Associate Professor and 3 years post-Ph.D.
Associate Professor:
- Ph.D. in a relevant field of Engineering and Technology
- M.E./M.Tech and B.E./B.Tech (or equivalent) in a relevant discipline with first class at either level
- Minimum 8 years teaching/research/industrial experience (with 3 years in AGP 8000 or equivalent)
- Alternately, 15 to 18 years of relevant industry experience may substitute in exceptional cases
Assistant Professor:
- M.E./M.Tech and B.E./B.Tech (or equivalent) in a relevant discipline with first class at either level
- Desirable: Ph.D. in relevant discipline; experience in teaching or relevant industry (10-15 years of experience for exceptionally eminent candidates)

Job/Position Description-

Teach various Artificial Intelligence courses for UG and PG students in-person on campus
Conduct theory and lab classes as assigned
Fulfill academic duties as per University guidelines
Each appointment is on an hourly basis; no claim for full-time/regular employment

Remuneration:

Professor: Rs. 2,750/hour (theory), Rs. 1,375/hour (lab); maximum Rs. 70,000/month
Associate Professor: Rs. 2,250/hour (theory), Rs. 1,125/hour (lab); maximum Rs. 70,000/month
Assistant Professor: Rs. 1,750/hour (theory), Rs. 875/hour (lab); maximum Rs. 52,000/month

Shortlisted candidates will be invited for an interview with the Expert Committee in the second week of November 2025 (on campus).
