About- Indian Institute of Information Technology, Design & Manufacturing, Kurnool (IIITDMK) was announced in 2014 after receiving the assent of the President of India to the Institutes of Information Technology Act, 2014. MHRD fully funds IIITDM Kurnool. IIITDM Kurnool launched its academic program with the support of its mentor Institute, IITDM Kancheepuram (Tamil Nadu), on August 2015 from the Kancheepuram campus. IIITDM Kurnool was accorded the status of Institute of National Importance. Mode of Selection for all posts: The applicants who have been shortlisted for positions Professor, Associate Professor and Assistant Professor have to go through the selection process of (a) Teaching Demonstration (chalk and talk on any core course of the branch at the 2nd year BTech level for Engineering branches and at 1st year MSc/MA level for Sciences and Humanities) (b) Research presentation using a PPT and (c) Interview.
