Eligibility/Qualification–
The qualifications strictly adhere to the University Grants Commission (UGC) regulations for higher education.
- Assistant Professor: Candidates must hold a Master’s degree with at least 55% marks (or an equivalent grade) in a concerned/relevant/allied subject from an Indian University or an equivalent degree from an accredited foreign university. Additionally, candidates must have cleared the National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by the UGC or the CSIR, or hold a valid Ph.D. degree.
- Associate Professor: Requires a good academic record with a Ph.D. degree in the concerned disciplines. Candidates must also have a Master’s degree with at least 55% marks. A minimum of eight years of experience in teaching and/or research in an academic/research position equivalent to that of an Assistant Professor is mandatory, along with a specified minimum number of publications.
- Professor:Â Requires an eminent scholar having a Ph.D. degree in the concerned/allied/relevant discipline with high-quality published work. Candidates need a minimum of ten years of teaching experience in a university/college, and experience successfully guiding doctoral candidates is highly desirable.
