Eligibility/Qualification–

Eligibility

PhD in relevant disciplines such as Materials Science and Engineering/ Chemistry / Physics (Materials/Applied)/ Nanotechnology / Nanoscience/ Metallurgical / Polymer / Chemical Engineering/ Energy Materials or allied areas The applicant should be an Indian citizen. The candidate must have 2 research publications and at least one research publication published or accepted within the last two year as First Author or Corresponding Author in a reputed, peerreviewed journal. Candidates with a granted patent will be given preference.

Desirable Qualification

The candidate should have: Strong background in advanced materials (nanomaterials, functional/energy materials, etc.) Hands-on experience in material synthesis and characterization (XRD, SEM, TEM, spectroscopy, etc.) Experience in interdisciplinary research and a good publication record will be preferred Prior research experience aligned with the thematic areas

Job/Position Description-

Applications are invited from motivated and eligible candidates for the National Postdoctoral Fellowship (NPDF) position in the research project: “SAKSHAM – Scientific Advancements in Knowledge for Sustainability, Healthcare, and Materials”, sponsored by the Anusandhan National Research Foundation (ANRF) under IITI- ANRF PAIR Theme-3 Advance Materials. The project will be implemented at the Hub institution i.e. Indian Institute of Technology Indore, Khandwa Road, Simrol, along with the spoke institutions i.e. National Institute of Technology, Kurukshetra The work place will vary from time to time as per the perquisites.

Duration	Initial appointment will be for one year
Fellowship:	Rs. 80,000/- + 10% HRA (as per norms) p.m.
