Research/Job Area- Chemical Engg/Metallurgical Enn/Mining Engg

Location- Hyderabad

Eligibility/Qualification–

Experience – Fresh Ph.D. (at least provisional degree certificate awarded) / preferably with some post-doc experience

Eligibility –

Ph.D. with BE/BTech/Equivalent in Chemical Engg/Metallurgical Enn/Mining Engg or Ph.D. with M.Tech/MS in Chemical Engg/Metallurgical Enn/Mining Engg related clean coal technology research.
Should have Mul9-phase flow modelling & Computa9onal Fluid Dynamics (CFD) experience during the PhD
Publica9on in Scopus-indexed journals will have an added advantage.
The candidate should have good academic records throughout and good writing/communica9on skills.
Candidates should not have published in Predatory Journals.

Job/Position Description-

Positon – Post-Doctoral Research Fellow (ChE/Coal beneficia9on) under CLEANZ CoE

Project Focus: Mul9-phase Modelling of Par9culate Systems in Coal Prepara9on

Type of Posi%on – The posi9on is for eleven months, with an extension subject to performance through a review process.

Fellowship – Consolidated pay Rs. 70,680 to Rs 85,000 per month (including HRA) based on post-doc experience

Job Descrip%on –

To develop a definite research product/outcome with TRL 5/6 Level with scale-up scope.
Review of relevant literature and coordinate the work with the team.
Experience in handling industrial scale numerical simulations-valida9ons.
Report preparation, audit writing and lab management.
Interac9on with sponsored agencies, traveling for project execution (if needed) etc.
Performance Matrices –
IP generated
Different computational approaches to model par9culate flows of Mineral industries / coal washeries.
New knowledge / technology solutions in clean coal technologies

Expected Outcomes – IP, Scalable Technology, Research-oriented technical minds, New application areas of CPS and start-ups.
