Project Title- Lattice field theory methods in Condensed Matter Physics
Location- Ariel University, Israel
The particular interest is in
— the Monte – Carlo simulations of Weyl/Dirac semimetals
— application of analytical methods of lattice field theory to the physics of Weyl/Dirac semimetals and topological insulators
The applicant is supposed to be an expert at least in one of the following fields:
- Numerical Monte – Carlo simulations in lattice field theory. The emphasis is in the Hybrid Monte Carlo algorithms. The applicant has to demonstrate the ability both to write the codes and to adapt the existing ones freely distributed by lattice collaborations.
- Analytical methods of lattice field theory. The emphasis is on the theoretical study of non – dissipative transport phenomena in the framework of various tight – binding models.
There are no age limitations for this position.
