ICAR – NBPGR, New Delhi, India, invites applications for Project Scientist (on contractual basis) from eligible and interested candidates
About- Eligible candidates are invited to attend a “Walk-in-Interview” for the post of Project ScientistII in the Department of Biotechnology (DBT) funded network project on wheat subproject “Germplasm Genomics for trait discovery” at NBPGR, New Delhi. The details of the position are given below.

Location- ICAR – NBPGR, New Delhi, India
Eligibility/Qualification–
Essential Qualification:
Doctoral Degree in Bio-informatics/Molecular Biology/ Life Sciences or Master’s Degree in Engineering or Technology with specialization in Bio-informatics/Biotechnology/Life sciences from a recognized University or equivalent
- Three years’ relevant experience in Research and Development in Industrial and Academic Institutions or Science and Technology Organizations and Scientific activities and services.
Desirable Qualification:
- Experience of large-scale SNP genotyping and resequencing data analyses, trait mapping, and construction of de nova-genome assemblies
- Publications in high impact journals
Upper age limit: 40 years
