Eligibility/Qualification–
Ph.D. in Physiology/any branch of Life Science with at least two publications in high ranking peer-reviewed journals.
The candidate should have hands-on experience of cell and tissue culture techniques, animal handling, routine biochemical, immunological and molecular biology assays.
Job/Position Description-
Recruitment of one Research Associate (RA-1) under a SERB project at Department of Physiology, University of Calcutta
Applications are invited for the position of a postdoctoral Research Associate in the Science & Engineering Research Board (SERB) Govt. of India funded project entitled “Exploring the Mechanism of Arsenic-Induced Neuro-inflammation and its Effect on Adult Hippocampal Neurogenesis: Possible Protection by Folic Acid Supplementation” (Sanction no. – File Number: CRG/2020/003159 dated 10.03.2021).
Duration of Associateship: 03 years or termination of the Project, whichever is earlier (subject to the availability of funds and satisfactory performance of the Associate)
