About- The University at present offers 45 Regular Programmes on Campus including B.Tech, M.Tech, B.Pharma, M.Pharma, B.Physiotherapy, M.Physiotherapy, M.Sc, M.B.A, M.Com and M.C.A. etc. with Ph.D. degree programme in all the Departments. The University also offer 17 Programmes through Distance Mode. These Distance Education Programmes stand approved by the joint committee of UGC, AICTE and DEC. The University is recognized by the University Grants Commission (UGC) under Section 2(f) for recognition of degrees on 11.1.1996 and under section 12(B) of the UGC Act to be eligible for central assistance on 7.2.1997.

Eligibility/Qualification/Job/Position Description- 

Online applications are invited on the prescribed form for the posts of Professor, Associate Professor, Assistant Professor and Assistant Librarian on regular basis

Pay Bands:  

1. Professor                                              : Academic Pay Level-14
2. Associate Professor                               : Academic Pay Level-13 A
3. Assistant Professor                               : Academic Pay Level-10 
4. Assistant Librarian                                : Academic Pay Level-10

The online application form is available on the University website. The fee of Rs.1,000/- for unreserved category candidates, Rs.500/- for female candidates of un-reserved category, Rs.250/- for SC/ BCA/BCB/ EWS/ ESM and no fee for PWD category candidates is applicable.

The written test will be conducted where the number of applications received for the posts of Assistant Professor/ Assistant Librarian is more than 15 for one post, more than 20 against two posts and so on. The eligibility of candidates will be got checked after conduct of written test, wherever applicable.  Accordingly, first 15 eligible candidates will be called for interview on the basis of written test in each category.  Their sequence will be prepared on the basis of criteria available at page No.10 & 11. Wherever the number of candidates or the post of Assistant Professor/ Assistant Librarian are less than 15, no written test will be conducted and all eligible candidates will be called for interview. Their sequence will be prepared on the basis of criteria available at page No.10 & 11. The selections shall be based only on the performance in interview.

A copy of the print out of the Application Form alongwith self-attested legible/ visible/ readable photocopies of the certificate of age proof/ detailed marks certificates(DMCs) (semester/yearwise)/certificate of Ph.D. Course Work/  M.Phil./ degrees/ experience certificates, etc. as claimed by the candidate should reach to the office of Assistant Registrar (Faculty), Guru Jambheshwar University of Science & Technology, Hisar – 125001, Haryana latest by 26.12.2023.

Last date for payment of fee through Net Banking/ Debit Card/ Credit Card is 21.12.2023 upto 10:00 p.m. and the candidate may fill their application form online upto 12:00 (midnight) on 21.12.2023.  The application form once submitted/ locked will not be edited.
