Eligibility/Qualification–

Educational: Ph.D. in relevant discipline and first-class in preceding degrees.
Experience: Minimum teaching/research/industry experience as prescribed by NIT Statutes/UGC/MoE norms (varies by post).
- Professor: 10+ years
- Associate Professor: 6+ years
- Assistant Professor: up to 3 years (see detailed conditions).
Credit Points: Must meet the minimum academic/research credit point requirements set out in the official notification.
Other: Compliance with reservation norms; recognized publications, research projects, and patents preferred.

NIT Delhi invites applications from eligible Indian nationals for various faculty positions (Professor, Associate Professor, and Assistant Professor) in multiple departments under the 2025-26 recruitment drive. The positions offer the opportunity to contribute to cutting-edge teaching and research activities at one of India’s premier technical institutions.
