About- Central Institute of Petrochemicals Engineering & Technology (CIPET) (formerly known as Central Institute of Plastics Engineering & Technology (CIPET)) was established in 1968 by the Government of India with the assistance of the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) at Chennai. The goal for creating this institute was to educate people in various fields of Plastics Engineering and Technology since there were no other institutes of its kind in the country. International Labour Organization (ILO) served as the executing agency. Between 1968 and 1973, the institute successfully achieved its goals and was considered one of the most successful UNDP projects worldwide. Today CIPET is a premier Academic institution for higher & technical CIPET is an important educational institution in India that focuses on higher and technical education in the field of plastics. It covers various areas such as design, CAD/CAM/CAE, tooling and mould manufacturing, production engineering, testing, and quality assurance to the Polymer and allied industries’ needs. | Senior Research Fellow(SRF) | 07 | Full time M.Sc. in Polymer Science, Physics, Chemistry, Materials Science & Engineering, Bio-Polymer Science with 02 years of Research Experience and minimum 01 No. of Research paper in SCI Journal. Or Full time M.E/M.Tech. in Plastics Engineering, Polymer Nanotechnology with 02 years of Research Experience and minimum 01 No. of Research paper in SCI Journal. |
