Eligibility/Qualification–

Essential Qualification	Ph.D. in Biotechnology/Biosciences and Biomedical Engineering/Environmental Sciences and Engineering, or allied fields
Desirable Qualification	At least one research paper in a Science Citation Index (SCI) journal in water/environment or a relevant field Fieldwork Experience (Sample collection) Excellent speaking, reading, and writing skills in English
Age Limit	Preferably below 32 years

Job/Position Description-

Applications are invited from highly motivated and eligible candidates for the position of Research Associate (RA) – I in the Department of Biosciences and Biomedical Engineering to work on the research project entitled “Carbon Stock Assessment of Ramsar Wetland Ecosystems for Effective Conservation Strategies”.

The objective of the project is to develop and standardize carbon stock assessment methods for Sirpur and Yashwant Sagar Wetland, Indore, M.P. Key responsibilities include assessing carbon dynamics in soil, vegetation, and water; analyzing seasonal variability and spatial distribution of carbon; identifying pollution sources; designing strategic recommendations for conservation and enhancement of carbon sequestration contributing to the ecological health of wetlands.

Fellowship: INR 58,000 monthly + HRA (as per norms)

Duration: 2 Years or till the project ends, whichever is earlier
