University of Hyderabad, India, invites applications for Research Associate Position in UoH from eligible and interested candidates.
About- The Research Associate (RA) position is open for one (01) position, with a monthly salary of Rs 58,000 and a 27% HRA if applicable. The post is tenured until June 2025, with monthly progress reviews. Eligible candidates must have a Ph.D. or ME/M.Tech with three years of R&D experience. A two-page draft on experimental work with characterization skills is required. Applicants must have at least four research publications and one first author publication in standard refereed journals. The age limit is five years, with relaxation for scheduled castes, physically handicapped, and women.

| Desirable Qualifications and Experience | Strong hands-on experience in the area of mineral beneficiation of low-grade iron ores, extractive metallurgy alloy making, thermomechanical processing and advanced materials characterization techniques. Strong communication and interpersonal skills |
| Age Limit | ≤ 28 years at the time of application with relaxation up to 5 years for SC/ST and 3 years for OBC candidates |
Job/Position Description-
Applications are invited from eligible candidates (Indian Nationals only) as per the attached format (Form B) for the following position(s) in the in the research project titled “Mineral beneficiation of low grade iron ores” and “Near Net Shape Manufacturing of Grain oriented Transformer grade electrical steel” sponsored by the NMDC and Technology transfer division of DST Research Grant vide Sanction Order-Nr. DST/TDT/TDP-7/2022 dated 8/2/2023.
