University of Hyderabad, India, invites applications for Research Associate Position in UoH from eligible and interested candidates.

About- The Research Associate (RA) position is open for one (01) position, with a monthly salary of Rs 58,000 and a 27% HRA if applicable. The post is tenured until June 2025, with monthly progress reviews. Eligible candidates must have a Ph.D. or ME/M.Tech with three years of R&D experience. A two-page draft on experimental work with characterization skills is required. Applicants must have at least four research publications and one first author publication in standard refereed journals. The age limit is five years, with relaxation for scheduled castes, physically handicapped, and women.

Eligibility/Qualification–

Essential qualification	Ph.D. The candidates with prior work experience (1 to 2 years) in the similar area supported with publications in peer reviewed international journals. Candidates with a PhD degree but without any postdoc experience will also be considered for RA I category.
Desired qualifications	1. Position RA III- PhD in Botany/Plant Science with experience in plant physiology, plant culture techniques, plant functional genomics supported with publications in tomato and/or rice. Candidates with a PhD degree but without any postdoc experience will also be considered for RA I category.
Age limit	As per the DBT / University norms

In a DST funded research project entitled “Development and pilot-scale production of a novel nano fertilizer nDAP and a nanobiopesticide Harpin loaded Chitosan” with Dr. Rahul Kumar for 1 Research Associate III position available at the Department of Plant sciences, School of Life Sciences, University of Hyderabad.
