Research/Job Area-Â ECE/Computer Engineering/Science or equivalent
Location- IIT Bombay
Eligibility/Qualification–
PhD in wireless communications/networking with minimum 4 years relevant experience
OR
MTech/ME in ECE/Computer Engineering/Science or equivalent degree with minimum 8 years relevant experience
OR
BTech/BE/MCA or equivalent degree in ECE/Computer Engineering/Computer Science with minimum 10 years relevant experience in the domain of wireless communications & networking technology.
Expertise in wireless communications and networking technology especially in following areas : 4G/5G system, 5G Core Network, Security issues in 5G System, Information Security of 5G Core network Functions.
Job Profile: The candidate will be primarily responsible for developing/update the Indian Telecom Security Assurance Requirements (ITSAR) for 5G Core Network Functions; developing test scripts to check security compliance of different 5G Core Network Functions, and making contributions toward 3GPP specifications for 5G and upcoming 6G system.

 About the project: The project aims to develop security assurance reports for Indian Telecom and methods to test them.
Pay Details: Level PR-O3: Salary range from Rs.58800 to Rs. 109200 + Rs.10000.00/- Out Of Campus Allowance (if applicable) p.m.
The position is temporary for a period of 1 year and tenable only for the duration of the project.
The appointment is for time bound project and the candidate is required to work mainly for the successful completion of the project. The selection committee may offer lower or higher designation and lower or higher salary depending upon the experience and performance of the candidate in the interview.
