About- ICMR-National Institute of Malaria Research will conduct walk-in-interview / written test for the below mentioned purely temporary project posts, tenable at ICMR-NIMR for the period as mentioned below. Candidates possessing required essential qualifications, experience and age criteria may attend walk-in-interview / written test on the date and venue as indicated in the schedule below along with the filled-in prescribed application form and supporting documents for proof of date of birth, qualifications and experience.

Desirable Qualification: Candidate should possess a Ph.D degree in Life Sciences subjects.  Peer-reviewed scientific papers published in international journals would be a plus point.  Preference will be given to those who have experience of working in vector-borne diseases, especially malaria. Strong scientific writing and verbal skill are required. Three letters of recommendation will need to be submitted.   Research publications in peer-reviewed journals.  
   
Scientist ‘D’ (Non-Medical)     01 (UR)Rs.54,000/+HRA as per rulesEssential Qualifications:  Candidate should possess 1st class Masters Degree in Biostatics from a recognized university with 8 years experience OR 2nd class M.Sc.+ Ph.D degree in Biostatics from a recognized university with 8 years experience. 
Desirable Qualification: Candidates having experience in communicable diseases shall be preferred.   
Candidate should possess a Ph.D degree in the field of Biostatics with good analytical and writing skills.   
A candidate having an understanding of Public Health in the context of malaria would be preferred.  
Strong scientific writing and verbal skill are required.   
Three letters of recommendation will need to be submitted.

  1. Interview will be held on the same day after registration and verification of documents. No candidate will be allowed to enter after scheduled date and time.
  2. If there are more than 30 candidates against any post, written examination will be conducted and shortlisted candidates will be considered for interview/personal discussion on the same day. The written examination will be conducted only for shortlisting of candidates and the selection would be based on the performance in the interview/personal discussion only.
