University of Hyderabad, India invites application for Senior Scientific Officer Position from eligible and interested candidates
About- Applications are invited in the prescribed format (along with copies of educational qualifications and experience and relevant certificates) from eligible candidates for the following positions under the “Institution of Eminence” project granted to the University of Hyderabad by the Government of India and MHRD Notification No. F11/9/2019-U3(A) dated 17.02.2020.
Research/Job Area– Materials Engineering/Nanoscience and Technology/Physics/Chemistry
Location- University of Hyderabad, India
Eligibility/Qualification–
| Essential Qualifications | Ph.D. in Materials Engineering/Nanoscience and Technology/Physics/Chemistry (or) M. Tech. in Materials engineering/Nanoscience and technology with minimum of two years of Experience |
| Desirable Qualifications | Strong hands-on experience in the area of Scanning probe Microscopy, Nanomechanical testing and Spectroscopy, Good understanding of various materials Processing and characterization techniques. Familiarity with safety norms, chemical waste management. Publications in refereed journals. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. |
| Experience | Atleast 2 years of experience in case of M. Tech. Holders |
| Age Limit | 45 |

- Ph.D. students who are on full-time registration are not eligible to apply for these positions.
- Duration: All appointments are made for six months initially and can be extended based on the outcome of a performance review.
