Eligibility-

For Temporary Faculty

  • As specified by department, typically requiring M.E./M.Tech./M.Arch./M.Sc. with Ph.D. or equivalent in relevant field.
  • Preference will be given to Ph.D. holders.
  • Department-specific criteria (see detailed table above).

For Teaching Assistant

  • B.E./B.Tech./B.Arch./M.Sc./MCA/MA in relevant disciplines.
  • Teaching Assistants are appointed only if suitable Ph.D./M.Tech./M.Arch. candidates are unavailable.

For Part-Time Faculty

  • As specified by department, with professional experience requirements where applicable.
  • Typically requires B.Arch. with 60% and experience, valid Council of Architecture registration, or equivalent.

Job/Position Description- 

Temporary Faculty, Teaching Assistant, and Part-Time Faculty Recruitment (Session: 2025-2026)

The Institute invites applications for the positions of Temporary Faculty, Teaching Assistants, and Part-Time Faculty across various departments for the academic session 2025-2026. The appointment is on a contractual basis for one semester, which may be extended for another semester. Selection will be based on the qualifications and specialization requirements specified for each department.

Remuneration

Temporary Faculty (M.E./M.Tech./M.Arch./M.Sc./MCA/MA with Ph.D.)60,000/- per month
Teaching Assistant (B.E./B.Tech./B.Arch./M.Sc./MCA/MA)50,000/- per month
Part-Time Faculty (as above, with Ph.D. & experience)1,000 per period, up to 70,000/-
Part-Time Faculty (with Ph.D.)1,000 per period, up to 60,000/-
Part-Time Faculty (B.E./B.Tech./B.Arch./M.Sc./MCA/MA)1,000 per period, up to 50,000/-
  • Temporary, contractual teaching and academic support in various specializations per departmental needs.
  • Responsibilities include classroom teaching, assisting in departmental research and administrative work.
  • The contract is initially for one semester, with a possible extension.
