About- Tata Memorial Centre – Advanced Centre for Treatment, Research and Education in Cancer (ACTREC), Navi Mumbai, invites eligible candidates for walk-in interviews for the posts of Project Research Scientist-I and II under an ICMR-funded research project. These are temporary project-based positions with competitive salaries and opportunities in cutting-edge cancer research.

Eligibility/Qualification–

For Project Research Scientist-I

• Postgraduate Degree (including integrated PG degree)
• Minimum 5–6 years of experience in:
  • Cancer biology / chemical biology
  • Nanomaterials
  • Molecular imaging / preclinical studies
• Strong analytical and communication skills

Preferred:

• Candidates who have submitted PhD thesis (awaiting degree)
• Team-oriented and self-motivated individuals

For Project Research Scientist-II

• Postgraduate Degree with minimum 5 years research experience
  OR PhD in:
  • Chemical Biology
  • Protein Chemistry
  • Biomedical Sciences

Preferred:

• Strong publication record
• Experience in:
  • Protein chemistry
  • Protein linking strategies
  • Molecular imaging
• Excellent analytical and communication skills

• Work on the project:
  “CTC-GLOWTECH: Development of a reporter-based liquid biopsy application in preclinical mouse model” (ICMR funded)
• Conduct laboratory experiments in cancer and molecular biology
• Perform imaging and analytical research
• Collaborate in interdisciplinary research teams
• Prepare scientific reports and presentations

Salary Details

• Scientist-I: ₹72,800/month (₹56,000 + 30% HRA)
• Scientist-II: ₹87,100/month (₹67,000 + 30% HRA)

Duration

• Initial 6 months, extendable based on performance
