Eligibility/Qualification–
Proposed Terms of Appointment
- Age:Below 40 years (preferably). Not restrictive for outstanding candidates.
- Essential Eligibility: First Class in UG and PG. The Ph.D. requirement may be relaxed for candidates with exceptional credentials and relevant experience.
- Desired Attribute:Â
(i) Good technical & communication skills and ability to inspire students.
(ii) Strong knowledge of fundamentals.
(iii) Inclination to pursue effective and vital research goals.
(iv) Post-Ph.D teaching & research experience.
(v) Passionate for research and publications. Good Teamwork and a positive approach.
Job/Position Description-
Compensation
Assistant Professor (On Contract) : Consolidated monthly remuneration ranging from Rs. 60,000 to Rs. 90,000/-, depending on qualifications, experience, and institutional requirements. The Contract may be renewed periodically based on the Institute’s requirements and the individual’s performance.
The consolidated monthly remuneration for contractual appointees will be determined based on qualifications, experience and performance. A contractual appointment does not vest any right to claim a regular or continued contractual appointment. If the Contract is not extended, the same will lapse automatically. Contractual faculty members are eligible to apply for a regular appointment through a separate advertisement for regular appointment.
Assistant Professor (Regular) : Entry Pay of Rs. 57700/- in AL10 of the 7th CPC Pay Matrix with applicable allowance & benefits as per Institute norms.
