About- The Centre for Nano and Soft Matter Sciences (CeNS) is an autonomous research institute under Department of Science and Technology (DST), Government of India. DST provides core support to the Centre in the form of a grant-in-aid for conducting basic and applied research in nano and soft matter sciences. CeNS is located at Jalahalli, Bengaluru. Eligibility/Qualification– The applicant must have a PhD degree in relevant fields and work experience in relevant areas.
Those who have submitted PhD thesis and awaiting award of the degree may also apply.
Job/Position Description- CeNS invites applications from candidates for temporary positions of Research Associates to carry out research and development activities related to the scientific objectives of the Centre.
The term of the contract shall initially be for a period of one year, extendable depending on the progress of the project work.
The emoluments will be fixed as per the norms prescribed by Dept. of Science & Technology, Govt. of India, commensurate with the qualification and experience in the research area specified above.
The appointment is purely temporary and the candidate shall not carry any right to seek regular employment after completion of the project work.
