About- The Center of Perpetual Mechanics (CPM) currently is under establishment as a part of Chennai Institute of Technology (CIT), Chennai, India. The concept of perpetual mechanics is born internationally within the Centre for Nonlinear Systems (CNS) of CIT.
In 2015 the perpetual points have been defined in mathematics, and their significance in mathematics is ongoing research. Lately it has been shown that examining the dynamics of mechanical systems using the concept of perpetual points leads to particular motions, the rigid body motions that are of great interest in mechanical engineering. Moreover, the dynamics of these mechanical systems associated with these motions has a particular interest with the view of mechanics, and lead to the definition of perpetual mechanics concept, which is the key area of research for the need for the establishment of the CPM.

Job/Position Description-
Title of position: Junior (Post-doc) and Senior Research Fellows in Nonlinear Dynamics of Mechanical System
- Recrut local and International people in all levels of research from undergraduate, postgraduate, and higher-level researchers.
- Dissemination of research outcomes in international journals and conferences, and also preparation of courses and lecturing material to make perpetual mechanics available to the people
- Collaborate with researchers from local and international institutes.
- Collaborate with industry to make perpetual mechanics useful in the industrial level.
- Obtain funding from local, international agencies and industry.
