About- In pursuance of letter received from Higher & Technical Education Department, Government of Jharkhand, Ranchi vide letter no.-4/f401-135/2016(37)-285 dated 22.02.2024, the online applications through Chancellor Portal (www.jharkhanduniversities. nic.in/nicdhte241/) are invited for Need Based contractual appointment of teachers in the rank of Assistant Professor in the different subjects in University Departments/Constituent Colleges/Model & Women’s Colleges under the jurisdiction of Vinoba Bhave University, Hazaribag against following roster wise sanctioned and vacant posts of this University.

Eligibility/Qualification–
As per UGC norms for Assistant Professor i.e.
- Master’s Degree in the subject concerned with minimum 55% marks (50% for SC/ST)
- NET/JET/SLET qualified or Ph.D.
As per the statutes by Department of Higher & Technical Education, Jharkhand vide letter no.-492 dated 24.02.2023 and amended vide letter no. 2589 dated 28.12.2023 (may be seen on the University website www.vbu.ac.in).
Job/Position Description-
This appointment will be on purely contractual basis and shall be valid till the Regular/Backlog appointment of Assistant Professor by the JPSC.

Print-out of online submitted application form alongwith a Demand Draft of Rs. 1000/- (for General/EWS/OBC candidates) or Rs. 500/- (for ST/SC/PH candidates) made in favour of the Registrar, Vinoba Bhave University, Hazaribag, payable at Hazaribag and self-attested copies of all the relevant documents as mentioned below is to be sent to Registrar, Vinoba Bhave University, Hazaribag, Jharkhand825301 through speed post by 5:00 pm on 10.04.2024 Applications reaching the University after the scheduled date and time will not be entertained.
