This postdoctoral project will be focused on dinucleoside polyphosphate capped RNA in mammalian cell lines with respect to tumorigenesis.

After the detection of new RNA caps, new chemical or chemo-enzymatic methods will be employed or developed to identify modified RNA sequences. Once the function of modified RNA has been elucidated, the biogenesis, biodegradation, and mechanisms of interaction of RNA with host cell targets will be the objective of further studies.
