Location- IIT Roorkee

Eligibility/Qualification–

Ph.D. in Engg. in hydraulic machines (simulation / testing) or marketing the industrial services

 Or  

M.Tech. in Mechanical Engineering with three (3) years’ experience in hydraulic machines (simulation / testing) or marketing the industrial process services i.e. B2B marketing 

Or 

MBA in marketing with three years experience in marketing the industrial process services i.e. B2B marketing

Or 

B.Tech. in the Mechanical/Civil/ Electrical Engineering with five (5) years experience in hydropower system / marketing of industrial process services i.e. B2B marketing/operation and maintenance of sophisticated SCADA based hydro turbine model testing laboratory along with knowledge of IEC 60193, AutoCAD and CFD in an educational Institute of repute or R&D organization or hydro turbine manufacturing organization. 

  • Experience: Having aptitude/experience for Marketing industrial services/products and travelling is an essential requirement with good communication skill and flair for marketing 

Job/Position Description- 

Applications are invited from Indian nationals only for project position(s) as per the details given below for the consultancy/research project(s) under the Prof Arun Kumar, Principal investigator, Department of Hydro and Renewable Energy, Indian Institute of Technology, Roorkee.

  1. Title of project: Hydraulic Turbine R&D laboratory
  2. Sponsor of the project: SRIC funds 
  3. Project position(s) and number:  Research Associate (marketing) – 1 no. 
  4. Emoluments:  Rs. 30,000/-   to   75,000/- + HRA
  5. Duration:  1 year
  6. Job description: Marketing of Laboratory rendered services of Hydro turbine model testing and flow, meter calibration, contacting prospective customer and preparing & making presentations at prospective customers works, assimilating knowledge of testing and operation of hydro turbine model test rig by participating in the model testing process including erection and dismantling of model and calibration of laboratory instruments.

      • Experience including research, industrial field and others.
      • Attested copies of degree/certificates and experience certificate.  
    • Candidate shall bring along with them the original degree(s)/certificate(s) and experience certificate(s) at the time of interview for verification. 
    • Preference will be given to SC/ST candidates on equal qualifications and experience.
    • Please note that no TA/DA is admissible for attending the interview.
