About- The Indian Association for the Cultivation of Science (IACS) is a society registered under Act XXI of 1860 and the corresponding State Act viz. the West Bengal State Registration Act 1961, with its headquarters at 2A & 2B, Raja S. C. Mallick Road, Calcutta – 700 032, West Bengal, India. It has a Governing Council with a number of members elected or nominated and the Registrar as its Non-Member Secretary. The Council has the functions, duties and power as envisaged in the Memorandum and Bye Laws and as per the provisions of the relevant Act.

Eligibility/Qualification–
Essential Qualifications: The candidate should have a PhD degree in chemistry with experience in bio-imaging application of nanoparticle.

Job/Position Description-
RA-1 position under the supervision of Prof. Nikhil R. Jana, affiliated to the Technical
Research Centre (TRC), IACS, Kolkata, for conducting Translational research as per the mandate of the TRC.

Nationality: Indian
Duration: This position is temporary, initially up to 31st March, 2026 and can be extended for another 1-year subject to continuation of the project and recommendation of the research advisory committee at the end of the initial tenure. Candidates will have no right to claim (explicit or implicit) any post in the institute.
Emoluments: As per DST rule.
