Eligibility/Qualification–
Essential Qualification
- Ph.D. in Chemistry, Materials Chemistry, or Physics.
- At least one research paper published in a Science Citation Index (SCI) journal.
Research Associate (Provisional)
- Candidates who have submitted their Ph.D. thesis but have not yet defended it are also eligible to apply.
Desirable Qualification
- Knowledge of:
- Materials synthesis
- X-ray crystallography
- Perovskite synthesis and structures
- Magnetic data measurements and analysis
Age Limit
- Maximum 35 years
Job/Position Description–
The International Centre for Materials Science (ICMS), New Chemistry Unit (NCU), and School of Advanced Materials (SAMat), JNCASR, Bengaluru, invites applications for the temporary position of Research Associate (RA) to work under the supervision of Dr. Pratap Vishnoi, Assistant Professor. The selected candidate will contribute to research in inorganic and hybrid materials, with a focus on advanced materials synthesis and characterization.

The selected Research Associate will work under the guidance of Dr. Pratap Vishnoi on research related to inorganic and hybrid materials. The role involves conducting advanced materials synthesis, structural characterization, perovskite research, magnetic property measurements, data analysis, and contributing to scientific publications.
Fellowship / Salary
- Research Associate (Provisional): ₹46,800 per month + applicable HRA.
- Research Associate: ₹58,000 / ₹61,000 / ₹67,000 per month + applicable HRA (based on experience).
