Non-Local Elasticity (Theoretical foundations of Eringen’s non-local theory of elasticity; background in continuum mechanics desirable)
Location- Jawaharlal Nehru Centre for Advanced Scientific Research (JNCASR), Bengaluru, Karnataka
Eligibility/Qualification–
- Essential:Â PhD in the field of non-local elasticity
- Desirable:Â PhD in non-local elasticity with background in continuum mechanics. The research will explore theoretical aspects of Eringen’s non-local theory of elasticity.
- Age limit:Â Maximum 38 years (candidates with exceptional merit may be considered for age relaxation)

A temporary position is available for a Research Associate to conduct research under the guidance of Dr. Animesh Pandey at the Engineering Mechanics Unit, JNCASR, Jakkur, Bengaluru.

The selected candidate will work on theoretical research in non-local elasticity, focusing on Eringen’s non-local theory, and participate in activities as directed by Dr. Animesh Pandey.
Remuneration:
Rs. 58,000/- per month + 27% HRA
