Research/Job Area-
Candidates will work in one or more of the following domains:
- Lignin valorization & biomaterial development
- Agri-food biomanufacturing & biomass valorization
- Gene cloning, CRISPR-Cas genome editing
- Synthetic biology & microbial cell factories
- Nutritional biofortification of wheat, cereals & banana
- Nanomaterials-based biosensing for food contaminants
- Plant genetics, breeding & molecular biology

Eligibility/Qualification–
Junior Research Fellow (JRF) – 01 Post
- M.Sc. in Chemistry / Physical Chemistry / Material Chemistry / Nanoscience / Nanotechnology
- NET / GATE qualified
- Age Limit: 28 years
Field Assistant (Plant) – 04 Posts
- Bachelor’s degree in Life Science / Chemical Science / Food Technology
- Age Limit: 50 years
Research Associate-I (RA-I) – Multiple Posts
- Ph.D. in Life Sciences / Biotechnology / Microbiology / Biochemistry / Biochemical Engineering
- 2–3 years post-PhD research experience (for some projects)
- Strong publication record (SCI journals)
- Age Limit: 40 years
Senior Research Fellow (SRF) – 02 Posts
- Postgraduate degree in Life Sciences / Biotechnology / Biochemistry / Botany
- NET / GATE qualified + 2 years research experience
- Age Limit: 32 years
Field / Lab Worker – 01 Post
- Minimum 10th pass
- Experience in lab/field work preferred
- Age Limit: 50 years

Job/Position Description-
BRIC–National Agri-Food and Biomanufacturing Institute (BRIC-NABI), an autonomous institute under the Department of Biotechnology (DBT), Government of India, invites applications for temporary research and technical positions under multiple DBT, ICAR, BIRAC, and NABI-CORE funded projects.
The positions are purely project-based and temporary, and selection will be through Walk-in Interview / Online Interview.

Emoluments
- JRF: ₹37,000 + HRA
- SRF: ₹42,000 + HRA
- RA-I: ₹58,000 + HRA (as per DBT/DST norms)
- Field Assistant: ₹27,000 + 18% HRA
- Field/Lab Worker: ~₹26,000 per month
