IIT (BHU) Varanasi invites applications for Project Scientist I at IIT (BHU) from eligible and interested candidates
About- Applications are invited from Indian nationals for the post of Project Research Scientist-I to work on ICMR-sponsored project under the supervision of Prof. Sairam Krishnamurthy, Department of Pharmaceutical Engineering & Technology, Indian Institute of Technology (BHU), Varanasi, India.

Eligibility/Qualification–
Essential qualifications: (1) First-class postgraduate degree including the integrated PG degree. (2) Second-class postgraduate degree, including the integrated PG degree with Ph.D. (3). For Engineering/IT/CS-First class graduate degree of four years.
Desirable qualifications: First class degree in M. Pharm/M. S. (Pharm.)/M. Tech (Pharm)/M. Tech in Pharmacology/ Biotechnology / Pharmaceutics with GATE/GPAT/CSIR-NET or equivalent qualifications. The candidates should have a basic degree in pharmacy/pharmaceutical engineering/pharmaceutical sciences (B. Pharm/B.Tech). Candidates with experience in animal handling, pharmacological models and molecular biology techniques would be preferred
Age limit: 35 Years (relaxable for SC/ST/Physically Handicapped/Female candidates as per the GOI norms). All things being equal, SC/ST candidates will be preferred as per GOI rules. Job/Position Description-
Recruitment of Project Research Scientist-I in the Department of Pharmaceutical Engineering & Technology, Indian Institute of Technology (BHU), Varanasi -221005
Title of the project: Development of regenerative nanofibrous bioactive conduit for treatment of spinal cord injury.
Duration: Three years. The post is purely temporary and co-terminus with the project.
Fellowship Amount: Rs. 56,000 + HRA (16%) per month

No TA/DA will be paid if called for an interview.
