Eligibility/Qualification–
The applicant must have obtained Ph.D. in Physics/ Mathematics from a recognized University and have expertise in Quantum Information and Quantum Foundations. A post-doctoral experience of 1 or 2 years would be desirable.
Job/Position Description-
Applications are invited for One Research Associate position to work in a DST funded project in the QuST program under “Quantum Information Technologies with Photonic Devices”.
Project Description : The main focus of this project will be to study different Quantum Information processing protocols, developing new techniques and understanding the role of genuine Quantum features. Study of Nonlocality and quantification of correlations will be other goals.
Starting date : Candidate can join from April 1, 2021. Exact date is negotiable.
Tenure of Fellowship: Initial appointment of the candidate will be for 1 year, extendable on annual basis depending on
the performance of the candidate, up to two years or upon termination of the project, whichever occurs earlier.
The project position is co-terminus with the above project.
Fellowship: As per IOP and DST guidelines.

Shortlisted candidates will be intimated by email and called for a presentation at the Institute of Physics, Bhubaneswar or by skype.
Accommodation inside the campus is subjective to the availability. HRA would be given at applicable rate for the candidates staying outside the campus.
