About- The School of Chemistry and Molecular Biosciences (SCMB) combines the disciplines of Chemistry, Biochemistry & Molecular Biology, Microbiology and Parasitology into a single academic unit. The School has modern research laboratories with state-of-the-art equipment and research infrastructure. Eligibility/Qualification–
The applicant should possess a PhD or post-doctoral experience in time-resolved spectroscopy of organic semiconductors or related materials.
You should also have a strong desire to develop a successful and highly-productive research career, good general research skills, a strong methodological background, very good writing abilities, and the capacity to work with multidisciplinary research teams.
Job/Position Description- The position will conduct research to understand the photo-physical properties of luminescent organic materials for organic light-emitting diodes. The materials classes range from small molecules to dendrimers and polymers with a focus on using time-resolved optical spectroscopy to understand and characterise the processes relevant to emission.
This is a full-time, fixed term appointment at Academic Level A. The remuneration package will be in the range $84,878 – $90,982 p.a., plus employer superannuation contributions of up to 17% (total package will be in the range $99,308 – $106,449 p.a.).
