DRDO-DRL, Assam, India invites applications for the Research Associate Position in DRDO from eligible and interested candidates
About- The Defence Research Laboratory (DRL), DRDO, Tezpur, Assam is inviting applications from young and motivated candidates for the positions of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) and Research Associate (RA). Selected candidates will work in ongoing and future research projects at DRL.
The recruitment will be conducted through a walk-in interview scheduled on 07 April 2026 for JRF positions and 08 April 2026 for RA positions. Interested candidates must submit their CV via email before 31 March 2026.

Junior Research Fellow (JRF)
- ₹37,000 per month + HRA
- Initial tenure: 2 years, extendable up to 4 years based on performance (may be upgraded to SRF).
Research Associate (RA)
- ₹67,000 per month + HRA
- Tenure: 2 years
Selected fellows will:
- Participate in ongoing and future research projects at DRL.
- Conduct experimental research, data analysis, and laboratory work.
- Assist in scientific publications, reports, and technical documentation.
- Work on advanced research areas such as biotechnology, polymer science, pharmaceuticals, environmental science, and molecular biology.
- Collaborate with DRDO scientists in defence-related research initiatives.
