DRDO Solid State Physics Laboratory, Delhi, India invites applications for the Research Associate Position in DRDO from eligible and interested candidates
About- Walk-in interviews for the positions of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) and Research Associate (RA) will be held at SJB Auditorium, SSPL complex, Delhi, at 0930 hours. Eligibility includes a Master’s degree in Physics/Electronics for JRF (maximum age 28) and a Ph.D. or equivalent degree for RA (maximum age 35). Candidates must bring a completed application, relevant documents, and a passport-sized photo. Interview dates are 01 Sep 2026 for JRF (Physics), 02 Sep for RA (Physics), 08 Sep for JRF (Electronics), and 09 Sep for RA (Electronics). Stipend is INR 37,000 for JRF and INR 67,000 for RA, with eligibility for age relaxation as per government rules. Fellowship is temporary, with no TA/DA provided, and electronic gadgets are prohibited during the interview.

- Relaxation in age for SC/ST/OBC as per Govt rules will be permissible.
- Stipened for the Research Associate (RA) is INR 67000/-month and for Junior Research Fellow (JRF) is INR 37000/month. Those who will be selected for the JRF/RA under the project will be paid as per the provision of funds up to PDC of the project.
- Candidates who have submitted their Ph.D thesis may also apply for Research Associate (RA) fellowship. However, the Research Associateship shall be awarded only after the candidate has been awarded the degree or provisional certificate on or before the date of offer of research associateship.

How to Apply-
- An application duly filled as per appendix ‘A’ with attested copy of Mark sheet/Certificate, Caste Certificate, Experience Certificates, Publications if any and all other relevant documents should be brought at the time of walk-ininterview along with a recent passport size photograph, duly affixed on the right top corner of the Appendix ‘A’. Candidates working in Govt/Public Sector Undertaking /Autonomous Bodies should bring ‘No Objection Certificate’ at the time of interview.
