Eligibility/Qualification–

1. Electrical and Energy Engineering

B.E./B.Tech./B.S. and M.E./M.Tech./M.S. or Integrated M.Tech. in relevant discipline
First class or equivalent in any one of the degrees

2. Geography

Option A:

Master’s degree with 55% marks in relevant subject
Must have qualified NET/SLET/SET OR hold a Ph.D. (as per UGC regulations 2009/2016)

Option B:

Ph.D. from a top 500 ranked foreign university (QS/THE/ARWU rankings)

Desirable:

Ph.D. in Geography (preferred specializations listed above)

Relaxation

5% relaxation for SC/ST/OBC (Non-creamy layer)/PwD candidates
Additional relaxation for candidates with older Master’s degrees (as per rules)
