Eligibility/Qualification–
o Essential Qualifications:
Ph.D. (Submitted/Awarded) in Biotechnology/Biosciences and Biomedical Engineering/Environmental Sciences and Engineering, or allied fields
o Desirable Qualifications:
At least one research paper in a Science Citation Index (SCI) journal in water/environment or a relevant field Fieldwork Experience (Sample collection)
Excellent speaking, reading, and writing skills in English
Job/Position Description-
Applications are invited from highly motivated and eligible candidates for the position of Research Associate (RA) – I in the Mehta Family School of Sustainability to work on the research project entitled “Carbon Stock Assessment of Ramsar Wetland Ecosystems for Effective Conservation Strategies”.
The objective of the project is to develop and standardize carbon stock assessment methods for Sirpur and Yashwant Sagar Wetland, Indore, M.P. Key responsibilities include assessing carbon dynamics in soil, vegetation, and water; analyzing seasonal variability and spatial distribution of carbon; identifying pollution sources; designing strategic recommendations for conservation and enhancement of carbon sequestration contributing to the ecological health of wetlands.
Emolument & Eligibility:
Position: Research Associate – I (01 No.)
- Fellowship: INR 58,000 monthly + HRA (as per norms)
- Duration: The appointment will be for 2 Years or till the project ends or whichever is earlier.
