Eligibility/Qualification–
Essential Qualifications
An outstanding Scientist/Engineer/Technologist with first-class M.Tech or equivalent and have a minimum of 6 years of experience of which 3 years must be in an IIT Delhi project at the level of Project Scientist and above.
Desirable Qualification
- Domain knowledge in renewable energy including state-of-the-art technologies, govt. and international policies.
- 2. Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Strong experience in external partnerships and communications roles.
- Experience in building clear, rigorous, and concise documents and presentations.
- Strong background in building powerful excel tools to track budgets, manage projects, and build analytical models.
- The entrepreneurial ability for institution building and performing a versatile set of functions such as oversee project plans for technical research projects as well as to conduct outreach activities and enhance the Centre’s external impact.
Responsibilities
1. Overall coordination of CoE activities,
2. Manage financial affairs of the Centre,
3. Convening meetings of the Centre advisory board,
4. Develop and maintain
a) strategic plan for the Centre’s near- and long-term objectives, b) operational plan defining roles and responsibilities of all stakeholders in achieving the Centre’s strategic aim,
5. Track the progress of various research projects underway at the Centre,
6. Convening roundtables, conferences and other events.
7. Maintaining a website and roll out public reports, press releases, editorials, meetings and consultations with ministry, govt.
institutions, international organisations, regulatory bodies, NITI Ayog and other relevant bodies.
8. Proactively seek opportunities to raise external funds
9. Serve as a link between ReNew Power and IIT Delhi. Interface Appointee will be required to interface with Centre coordinator and co-coordinator, Dean IRD, ReNew Power Chief Communication, CSR, and Sustainability Officer and team, Chief Technology Officer and Technology Team, IIT Delhi faculty, staff and students, Centre advisory board members
