Location- Pune

Eligibility/Qualification–

Minimum Educational Qualification: Ph.D. in Experimental Physics with a strong background in Photonics, Quantum optics, Atomic physics and Laser spectroscopy. Candidates who have submitted thesis may also apply.

Preference: Candidates having their Ph.D. in the general area of
experimental photonics or quantum optics or physics with ultracold atoms or precision measurements with atomic systems; a good working knowledge of experimental techniques in handling/designing control systems, stable laser systems, UHV systems and optical design will be preferred.

Consolidated emoluments: 1) Rs. 47,000/- + 24% HRA to Rs. 54,000/- + 24% HRA per month depending upon the experience 2) Candidates who have submitted their thesis but not completed defence (i.e. candidates without a provisional certificate of having qualified for the degree), will be designated as Senior Research Fellow (SRF) and paid Rs. 35,000/- + 24% HRA per month till the time of submission of Provisional Ph.D. certificate

Age:
1. Research Associate (RA): Not more than 35 years as of the last date of application
2. Senior Research Fellow (SRF): Not more than 32 years as on the last date of application
