Eligibility/Qualification–

Essential Qualifications	For the JRF post: B.E./B.Tech. with valid GATE score or M.E./ M.Tech. in Computer Science & Engineering/ Information Technology/ Electronics and Communication Engineering or related subjects with minimum of 60% marks throughout (as per OM No. SB/S9/Z-01/2015, Govt. of India). M.Sc. on Pure or Applied Mathematics with valid GATE/NET score and coding theory knowledge can also apply. For the RA post: Submitted/Completed PhD in Computer Science or Mathematics(Applied). Knowledge of coding theory or/and cryptography. Practical knowledge in one or more development languages (C/C++, Python). Good written and verbal communication skills.
Desirable Qualifications	Computer programming skills. Knowledge of Coding theory and/or Cryptology will be considered an asset.
Age	As per institute guidelines.

Job/Position Description-

Title of The Project	Development of Cryptanalysis Tools for Hamming Metric Post Quantum Code Based Cryptosystems
Principal and Co-Principal Investigators	Dr. Bhaskar Biswas and Dr. Debasish Bera, Assistant Professors (CSE), Indian Institute of Information Technology Kalyani
Tenure of Project	2 years
Job Description	The selected candidate is expected to carry out the research work related to the project and to help ensure the timely and successful completion of the project, in consultation with the PI and Co-PI. He is also expected to write the initial drafts of reports, manuscripts, and patents resulting from the project in consultation with the PI and Co-PI.

Fellowship

JRF @ 31,000/-+ HRA (inclusive all as per Institute norms);

RA @ 54,000 + HRA per Month (inclusive all as per Institute norms).

Registration for Ph.D.

Selected candidate on JRF positions are expected to register for full time Ph.D. program at Indian Institute of Information Technology Kalyani as per Institute norms.
